We are looking for full time skilled cooks to be responsible for the storage, preparation, assembly, cooking, plating and garnishing of all food products according to Boston Pizza specifications and practices, as well as maintaining inventory levels of prepared and unprepared products.

Responsibilities
Ensuring all products sent out of kitchen meet Boston Pizza specifications
Confirming invoicing is correct for all product orders
Issuing food when it has been properly and completely accounted for on a customer bill and chit from remote printer
Help control food costs, maintain kitchen equipment and implement kitchen controls
Ensure products are properly dated, stored and rotated to ensure food safety
Maintain a high level of product and recipe knowledge, as well as assembly and plating specifications
Ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner
Assist in the training and development of new kitchen employees
Follow and prepare daily prep sheets to indicated product levels on hand and amount required for daily operations
Maintaining organization and cleanliness in the Heart of House area
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Must be bondable
Completion of High School
Experience in restaurant cooking, or other commercial cookery will be necessary (certificates and/or letters required) OR minimum 2 years’ experience in culinary training
Excellent communication skills
Open availability for days, evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary
Ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to problem solve and account for guest allergies and concerns
Maintain professionalism, cleanliness and personal hygiene at all times
